Lil Peep’s Estate Shares Another Unreleased Gem With “heaven sent”

Lil Peep’s estate has released another posthumous track with “heaven sent,” nearly a decade after the beloved SoundCloud era artist passed away. Produced by Smokeasac and Yung Cortex, the song brings back the hazy sound that became a major part of Peep’s music.

The producers build the track around a sample of Brand New’s “Okay, I Believe You, But My Tommy Gun Don’t,” creating a dark and dreamy backdrop for Peep’s vocals. “heaven sent” is short, but his laid back delivery gives the song a familiar feeling for longtime fans. While the track stays close to the style Peep was known for, it also serves as another reminder of the sound that helped make his music stand out.
