Meek Mill and G Herbo are back together on “Wanna Be Free,” a new collaboration that Meek surprised fans with. Both rappers have built their careers around music that reflects the struggles, ambition, and determination that come with chasing success on their own terms. Their latest link up follows 2025’s “Survivor’s Guilt,” which connected with listeners and showed how well their styles work together.
The release arrives at an interesting time for G Herbo, who recently spoke about the possibility of stepping away from the music industry. That conversation has left fans wondering what the future holds for the Chicago rapper, making this new collaboration especially noteworthy. While it remains unclear what either artist has planned next, “Wanna Be Free” brings them back together for another release and gives fans a fresh track to add to their playlists.
