Jacquees is giving his song “Lick Back” another moment in the spotlight with a new remix featuring Lil Baby. The two minute release brings together the Atlanta R&B singer and one of the city’s biggest rap stars, adding a new twist to a record that originally featured Juvenile. First released on June 12, the original track later appeared on Jacquees’ album Mood 2, which arrived July 31 as a follow up to his 2016 project Mood.
The original “Lick Back” also came with a music video directed by Jacquees and filmed in New Orleans, making it a fitting release for his collaboration with Juvenile. Now, Lil Baby’s appearance gives the song a fresh boost and helps keep Mood 2 in rotation. The album features other tracks like “Physical” with Tink and “Let You Go” with K Camp. With Jacquees’ smooth R&B style meeting Lil Baby’s rap delivery, the remix offers something for fans of both genres.
