Kid Rock has released Halfway 2 Jesus in select markets, bringing an unexpected collaboration with Eminem to streaming platforms. Their song, “Heal My Faith,” blends rock and rap, marking a notable pairing between two artists with very different musical approaches. Eminem was originally expected to appear on “7 Sins,” but Lil Wayne ultimately took that spot, leaving Em to join Kid Rock on this track instead.
The collaboration has also sparked discussion among fans, with Eminem’s decision to appear on Kid Rock’s Christian themed album drawing attention. Musically, “Heal My Faith” takes a different direction from the traditional hip hop sound many listeners associate with Eminem, leaning into a rock driven arrangement. The track stands out as one of the album’s most talked about moments, largely because of the unexpected pairing and the conversation surrounding the release.
