Lil Wayne is showing his love for the Green Bay Packers once again with “Special Ops,” a new anthem produced by Manny G, Swede, and Ethan First.
The track continues Wayne’s long history of making music for his favorite NFL team, following previous Packers anthems like the “Green And Yellow” records. “Special Ops” comes with a huge, energetic sound, combining guitars, chants, and heavy trap drums for a stadium ready feel.
Weezy brings his usual confidence to the record, delivering shots at some of the Packers’ biggest NFL rivals, including the Chicago Bears and their coach Ben Johnson. His delivery fits perfectly with the competitive energy of the song.
“Special Ops” originally appeared in a promotional ad for the Packers’ new “Rivalries” uniform before getting a wider release. For Packers fans, this is another Lil Wayne anthem to add to the rotation.
