Rakim, Kurupt, and Masta Killa are bringing three generations of hip-hop experience together with their latest single, “DPG-Wu-Tang, Wu-Tang-DPG.”
The track serves as another preview of their upcoming joint album, The Godbody LP, which is scheduled to arrive on September 18. With Rakim representing the East Coast, Kurupt bringing his West Coast style, and Masta Killa adding the Wu-Tang connection, the collaboration has plenty of history behind it.
“DPG-Wu-Tang, Wu-Tang-DPG” combines strong production with sharp lyricism from all three MCs. Each rapper brings his own delivery and personality to the record, creating a meeting of styles that feels natural.
The song also comes with an accompanying music video, giving fans another way to experience the collaboration ahead of the full album. If The Godbody LP continues in this direction, hip-hop fans have plenty to look forward to.
