Tommy Richman returns with “Changes,” a heartfelt new single that leans into emotional storytelling and genre blending, while paying tribute to his mother.
The track finds Richman moving further into pop and alternative rock territory, continuing his stylistic shift beyond his earlier viral sound. Lyrically, he opens up about his mother’s medical struggles and personal growth, adding a more vulnerable tone to the record. The song also interpolates David Bowie’s classic “Changes,” reinforcing its theme of transformation and reflection.
