Rising Dallas artist 4batz is officially back with new music, responding to fans’ calls for more with a double single release titled since yall say ion drop enough. The drop arrives almost exactly one year after his debut mixtape U Made Me a St4r, which first put him on the radar with viral tracks and a major co-sign from Drake.
The new release features two emotional and melodically raw songs—“hope u don’t mind” and “me u & pride”—that return to 4batz’s signature style of toxic romance and vulnerable storytelling. Clocking in at just under six minutes total, the pair of tracks show the singer doubling down on the moody, R&B-laced formula that gained him his initial traction.
Although he hasn’t dropped through OVO Sound as once expected, 4batz continues to carve his own path with consistency and fan-first moves. With this surprise drop, he proves he’s still tuned in and ready to deliver.
