Rick Hyde of Black Soprano Family teams up with Elcamino for the soulful and reflective track “East Side.” Over a loop of soulful melodies produced by Chop La Rok and Scrilla, the Buffalo rappers share their experiences and thoughts on the hot summer days in their neighborhood.
In the verses, they paint a vivid picture of life on the East Side, where kids are playing and the streets are still heated with violence. They reflect on the realities of living in their neighborhood, where the grill smoke mingles with the smoke from firearms. The lyrics capture the raw and unfiltered emotions of the East Side residents, highlighting the challenges and dangers they face on a daily basis.
“East Side” is the latest release from Rick Hyde’s upcoming project “Lupara,” set to be released on August 4. The track follows his previous release “Streets Ain’t The Same,” which featured Benny The Butcher and ElCamino, and promises to be another impactful addition to his discography.
