In the song, Busta Rhymes and Coi Leray exchange witty bars as they embark on a daring adventure, which includes robbing a diner. Busta expresses his protective and supportive attitude toward Coi Leray, referring to her as his “lil sis” and emphasizing the importance of loyalty and unity.
The track samples The Whole Darn Family’s “Seven Minutes of Funk,” a classic and widely recognized sample that has been used in various hip-hop songs, including JAY-Z and Foxy Brown’s “Ain’t No Nigga.”
“Luxury Life” serves as a follow-up to Busta Rhymes’ previous track “Beach Ball” featuring BIA and coincides with Coi Leray’s new EP, “Blue Moon.” It’s a dynamic collaboration that combines Busta Rhymes’ veteran presence with Coi Leray’s contemporary energy, making it an exciting addition to their respective discographies.
