Diddy allows Teyana Taylor to take the spotlight in his latest music video, “Closer To God.”
Directed by Teyana herself, the visually striking production showcases Teyana in a desert setting, featuring diverse wardrobe changes before reaching a powerful moment of vulnerability, later joined by Diddy.
“Every time I hear you speak, I feel enough / Even in my dreams, I see our kids and stuff,” she croons. “Even on my hard days, I wanna kiss your scars / I got the same ones on my heart.”
“Closer To God” is featured on Diddy’s extensive 23-track album, “The Love Album: Off The Grid,” which boasts collaborations with Bryson Tiller, PARTYNEXTDOOR, The Weeknd, 21 Savage, French Montana, Mary J Blige, Babyface, The-Dream, Busta Rhymes, H.E.R., and more.
