In preparation for his new album “Austin,” Post Malone has released the music video for his previously dropped single “Mourning.”
In the introspective video, a vulnerable Post Malone is seen in an agriculture region, expressing his struggles with sobriety. He sings on the hook, “Don’t wanna sober up / Try to keep it inside, but I just wanna pour it,” while consuming a bottle of liquor and moving a large block representing an ice cube. The song’s emotions overflow, with Post Malone admitting he has a lot to say that couldn’t fit into the chorus.
“Austin” is Post Malone’s upcoming self-titled and fifth album, set to be released on Friday, July 28. The album also features tracks like “Chemicals” and his most recent single, “Overdrive.”
