Yeat appears to be addressing his recent situation with Travis Scott on his new track, “On Nothing.”
The two artists recently appeared together on Young Thug’s “Eaters” from Slime Language 3, but Yeat was reportedly removed from the song shortly after its release. Rumors began circulating that Travis may have played a role in the decision, with some speculation connecting the situation to Yeat’s previous collaboration with Kylie Jenner.
Now, Yeat seems to be responding through music. “On Nothing” contains multiple references to “La Flame,” which appear to be aimed at Travis Scott. The lyrics have quickly added fuel to what could become an unexpected rap feud.
Yeat and Travis have previously worked together, making the apparent tension even more surprising. Whether this develops into an actual back and forth remains to be seen, but Yeat has certainly made his feelings known.
