Young Thug is continuing the rollout for Slime Language 3 with “Consummate,” a new collaboration featuring 1300SAINT and Tezzus.
Young Thug’s YSL roster continues to introduce new voices, and “Consummate” gives 1300SAINT and Tezzus a chance to stand out. While both artists clearly carry some of Thug’s influence, they bring their own styles instead of simply copying the sound that made YSL famous.
The production gives the younger artists plenty of room to shine, while Young Thug takes more of a supporting role and appears toward the end of the track. This approach makes the record feel less like a traditional Thug collaboration and more like an introduction to the next wave of YSL talent.
“Consummate” offers another look at the direction Young Thug is taking with Slime Language 3. If these newer artists continue developing their own sounds, the next chapter of YSL could be an interesting one.
